“Hello and Welcome”
My name is Karen, an Ex-Roman Catholic [from the cradle] who searched for the truth; drawn to the well of salvation in Christ alone (Ephesians 2:8-9). Today, here I stand, boldly, defending and earnestly contending for the truth according to the pure word of God (Proverbs 30:4-6) with witness and testimony of faith in Jesus Christ.
In 1996, having “come out from amongst them” [Charismania], in light of and in obedience to scripture, duly commenced with research of “Charismatic Chaos” & “Word of Faith Movement” and the seducing spirit thereof.
Furthermore, enrolled at Bible College, alongside my husband, in order to “unlearn” error and learn the truth of the word of God, thereby, studying to show myself approved with scripture, the whole counsel of God, rightly divided, of which is imperative.
Regardless of my parents having forsaken me Psalm 27:10, with true love and forgiveness in my heart I earnestly explained the truth of Jesus being the only way, the only truth, and the only life. No-one can come to the one and only Father in heaven except through His Son Jesus Christ, who is the one and only mediator.
The bedrock of my Christian walk as a true believer in Jesus Christ is Matthew 5:3-20 and Matthew 6:9-14 and Romans 8:28
The Lord Jesus Christ said, “For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.”
Broken by almighty sovereign God, with a contrite heart of repentance, I truly declare: Jesus is the way, and the truth, and the life. John 14:5-6
The penultimate book of the Bible is Jude, wherein the author identifies himself as Jude, the “brother of James” (Jude 1:1). Jude had intended to write a treatise on salvation, whereupon he was led to write the New Testament’s strongest condemnation of false teachers.
Thereby, Jude beseeches “to those who are called, beloved in God the Father, and kept for Jesus Christ,” entreating them to “contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all handed down to the saints.” (Jude 1:3) Furthermore, he warned believers that “certain persons have crept in unnoticed.” (Jude 1:4)
Today, we find these ‘certain persons ’ to be among us everywhere. Indeed, their books are in the “Christian” book stores; their false teachings are proclaimed within the churches; they are speaking at conferences; they travel the globe and visit churches; they are leading church ministries and of course, writing in “Christian” magazines and on ministry websites.
The Lord Jesus Christ warned us, clearly, that we are to “beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits.” (Matthew 7:15-16)
We ought to be “Bereans” as in Acts 17:11 – the apostle Paul escapes from the unbelieving Jews in Thessalonica, and is taken by night into Berea. Afterwards, he enters a synagogue of the Jews in Berea. “These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.”
Therefore, a Berean searches the scriptures to verify whether the things he has been taught are scriptural. In view of Acts 17:11, is a believer, follower of Christ alone, who allows the scriptures, rightly divided, to be the final authority. A true Berean will not accept any teaching that has no scriptural foundation.
The Berean believer, as a ‘watchman on the wall’ ought to stand firm in the truth of scripture rightly divided and ‘sound the trumpet’ with regard to “unfruitful deeds of darkness.” (Ephesians 5:11) whilst shining a light on the truth of the pure word of God, and as such, I do so, unashamedly.
“Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them
that put their trust in him.” (Proverbs 30:5)
Defending Truth as a Berean with a teachable heart; sharing of research, resources and study in the precious pure word of God so as to discern the true doctrine and teachings of scripture in the midst of what is being presented, today, as truth.
“Beloved, believe not every spirit, but test the spirits whether they are of God:
because many false prophets are
gone out into the world.” (1 John 4:1)
Test All Things
Against the Word of God
1 Thessalonians 5:21
“Prove all things, hold fast that which is good”
Psalm 25:5 | Romans 1:16

Proverbs 30:4-6
Psalm 119:105
Proverbs 3:5-6
Jesus said: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.” Matthew 22:36-40

Thanks for the info on your website. Yes, there are wolves amongst the sheep, and they, like the weed amongst the wheat, are going to stick around until the day of harvest- when the Lord will bring out His judgement.
Thank you for the warning.
I am a fellow sojourner, who was once bruised by ravenouse wolves.
Praise to God He kept me.

Hi Karen,
Nice to see you on FB again, and to read your encouraging words of Scripture.I would appreciate your prayers for me as I interact with Roman Catholic friends, both on FB and privately; I find reaching them such a challenge, simply because they are friends. Sometimes it’s easier with strangers! All prayers appreciated. God bless and protect you, as you stand up for His Truth.
