As true believers, followers, of Jesus Christ, we are called to witness the good news of His Gospel and narrow way, and be watchmen.
There is no scripture to be found in the precious pure Word of God (Proverbs 30:4-6) that tells us to ignore error, nor is there any scripture that tells us to ignore the signs of the times in which we live.
As a true believer we have security in Jesus Christ, thus, we are instructed to stand firm in our faith, understand our times, know His Word, trust His sovereign grace, and follow His Narrow Way. Psalm 119:105
“Therefore let us not sleep, as do others, but let us watch and be sober.”
1 Thessalonians 5:6
“Take heed, watch and pray; for you do not know when the time is…. Watch therefore, for you do not know when the master of the house is coming – in the evening, at midnight, at the crowing of the rooster, or in the morning – lest, coming suddenly, he find you sleeping. And what I say to you, I say to all: Watch!”
“See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.”
